I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Utah, with an emphasis in Mental Health. I have over 9 years experience, and have worked in outpatient mental health, providing online therapy services, and for a non-profit that served homeless veterans. Each setting has provided me with solid skills and valuable experience I use in my private practice.
I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space where you can talk openly and honestly. I do not use a cookie cutter approach to therapy; you’re unique and your treatment should be as well. I provide therapy that is adjusted to your individual situation, using evidence based approaches, and continually seek feedback to assure we are meeting your needs. I offer an objective perspective, and work with you to discover specific tools and techniques that will help you regain some control over your life and feel better. I will challenge you to think differently and put into action what you’re learning about yourself, so that you can see the results in your relationships and your life.
